STEP 2:

 

Make the natron your students will need to mummify their pharaohs.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

​

per student...
  2 boxes (1 lb) of baking soda
  2 canisters (1 lb 10 oz) of salt
per class...
  1 large plastic tub

PROCEDURE:

​

1. Mix the salt and baking soda together in a 1:1 ratio.

 

2. If you have so many students that the tub would over fill, either make half the natron later or get a second plastic tub.
